The Cig metal is a cigarette looking aluminum alloy pipe, the grinder tip has sharp grinding teeth at the bowl end.  The ceramic offers a cleaner smoking experience, Ribbed brass is the king. Straight black is also an aluminum alloy pipe and the Ebony & Brass is a solid brass pipe with a wood heat cover.

This design has an open cutaway on one side, exposing the pipe.  You simply push the pipe down in order to open the dugout.  The pipe has a spring under it pushing it up into the lid, locking it in place.  This is a very handy feature that will ensure your box does not open on the road!
